   6. OUR FIRST RENDERING

Do not worry about the weird aspect and the corners, that can be done later using Mesh Smooth.

You can give it a try now just remember to save the file with a different name so that you can return to this part. If you apply the mesh Smooth modifier and the result does not look OK, please get back and adjust vertexes until you are satisfied with the final result.

For next we'll attach to the first created patch all the other patches and weld the vertexes. If you done everything correctly, you should have this in the Perspective View.

   7. STARTING TO ADD DETAILS

If you'll take a look at the real car arch you'll see that the exterior side is flat. In the next part we'll create that part just to give it a realistic look. In the right view port create, as we did in the first section, a quad patch, mirror it and attach them to the part already created. - see the image bellow for more details. (Ohm - bullshit - My PC just restarted suddenly)

Above you can also see my result after completing this operation and applying a temporary Mesh Smooth. You should have the same result if you render the Perspective view port. Now this is starting to look good!

   8. COMPLETING THE WHEEL ARCH

After Completing the previous step, select the 2 interior edges and extrude them in the interior by dragging them with your mouse after turning on "EXTRUDE" (you'll see that the pointer of the mouse changes shape). This will help you later when you'll create the wheels and you'll see empty space between them and the Car Body. - see the image bellow for details -

   9. DETAILS AGAIN

In the exact same way try to extrude the edges fro the exterior of the patch. See them on the picture bellow. Again, do not worry about the aspect, that can be fixed later on. As we said, we'll try to keep it as simple as possible. Try to remember that this kind of edge extrude will be used for allmost every external edge of the car.

   10. STARTING THE FRONT OF THE CAR

In the following part you'll create the part of the body that is under the Light Spot in the front. I'm very bad in English, but I bet the picture say it all. In the front view port create another quad (30 x 30) patch and move the vertexes to match the following pic.

Sorry for the big files (my idea was that pictures are sometimes self explanatory) and the most important thing is for you to understand this tutorial.
