Im
sure there are hundreads of other ways to create a microphone, but
Im creating this tutorial for all the newbies, like me ;). The final
rsult of the tutorial can be observed in the picture bellow.

Create
a ChamferCyl from "create/Extended Primitives." Then select
"Modify" and change these settings:
Radius:
2
Height: 0,2
Fillet: 1 (or 0,1) |
Height
Segs: 1
Fillet Segs: 3
Sides: 20
Cap Segs: 1 |
Tick
"Slice On"
Slice From: 0
Slice To: 220 |

Select
"Select and Move" from the top menu, and right click it.
Set everything to 0, dont close the window yet..
Now
select "Select and Rotate" and change everything to 0,
except Absolute:World Z, change that into -18
You
can close the window now.
Now
create another ChamferCyl. Select on "Select an move"
and right click it.
Change
everything to 0, exept Absolute:World Y, change that to 0,3.
Click
Absolute:World and check if everything is on 0. Close the Transform
Type-in
window.
Select
Modify and chenge these settings:
Radius:
1,5
Height: 0,2
Fillet: 1 (or 0,1)
The
segment settings should be in order
If ticked, untick Slice On
In
the modifier list, choose "Taper" and set there settings:
Amount:
1,2
Curve: 0
Primary:
Z
Effect: Y
Tick
Limit effect
Upper
Limit: 0,05
Lower Limit: 0
