4. ADDING A CAMERA
IN THE SCENE |
Create
a target camera in top view port and set camera position to x :
0 , y : -200 , z : 22. For the camera's target imput the folowing
coordinates: x : 0 , y : -33 , z: 22. Now go in perspective viewport
and Press [ C ] to change the view to the camera view. Aslo for
the camera , set the Lens to a value of 28. In the environment setings
rollout imput the folowing setings:

5. CREATING THE
FOG EFFECT |
Press
[ 8 ] to open environment setings dialog. Click the [ Add... ] button
and from the opened window select FOG. Change the fog color to R
: 72 , G : 87 , B : 201. Set type to layered , fallof : top and
density : 80.

6. CREATING WATER
MATERIAL |
Press
M to open material editor. Click
on a free sample slot. In shader basic parameters turn on 2-sided.
Set diffuse (color) to R : 111 , G : 137 , B : 203. set Specular
level : 198 , glossiness : 19. In maps rollout click on bump button
and from opened window select noise. Set noise size to 10 and click
on goto parent button.

[Go
to parent Button]
Now
click on reflection and select bitmap from opened window then choice
Cloud2.jpg file. This file should have the folowing path: 3D S Max
Instalation Folder \ Maps \ Skies \. If you don't have this file
there, you can also download it from <<
here >>.
Next set the amount of reflection to 80, and rename the created
material to Water. You can now assign you new created material to
the water object.

7. CREATING SEA
FLOOR MATERIAL |
Select
an empty sample slot in material editor. Set parameters to : Specular
level : 13 , glossiness : 33. In maps rollout click on diffuse color
button and from opened window select mix. Click on Color # 1 button
then select bitmap and choice GRYDIRT1.jpg. This file should have
the folowing path: 3D S Max Instalation Folder \ Maps \ Grounds
\. If you don't have this file there, you can also download it from
<< here >>.
Now set tilling U : 5 V : 5.

Click
on goto parent button to set the next map. Click on color # 2 button
and select bitmap and choice grass2.jpg. This file should have the
folowing path: 3D S Max Instalation Folder \ Maps \ Grounds \. If
you don't have this file there, you can also download it from <<
here >>. Again set the tilling to U: 5 and V: 5. Click
on [ Go to parent ] and set mix amount to 61 as per the image bellow.

Again
go to parent and drag the diffuse color map over the bump map button
and choose copy. You should have this.

Now
change material name to floor then drag it to sea floor object.
NOW RENDER THE SCENE. .. yes, you're done. ... that's all.
Remember
that if you want to animate this scene, no problem because all the
parameters used can be animated.
